Most of the working papers collected for this section are on inflation expectations, inflation and welfare, different measurements of inflation and inflation dynamics.

We have recently added papers on inflation and the Great Recession and inflation and sovereign debt crises.

We started collecting commentaries on inflation in 2011. Most economists whether in academia, think tanks or international organizations have posed the same question:  is inflation the answer, given the high government debt levels and the anemic or lack of growth in most industrialized countries?

As the belief that the developed world is heading towards a lost decade is gaining steam, most of the commentaries are converging towards a qualified yes.
